How is your dog doing? You don‘t have to answer me! Rather, ask yourself this question as you play the therapy sounds for your dog. It takes a very varied length of time for individal dogs to be desensitized (when a problem exists) or be habituated (when a habit is being formed before your dog prehaps enocunters a fear of a noise or noises). But at this moment, you may have gone from the first Step and to a subsequent step. This is especially likely in the first steps, when the sounds are heard very low. So if you are entering a subsequent step, then this may be the time when you are actually starting to HEAR the sounds. While you are playing the sounds at the Step where you are at currently, is your dog completely relaxed or stressful? If it is relaxed, it is time to move on. A small dog with a very, very big personality, the Chihuahua has proved to be the match with other big personalities.
- Paris Hilton was only an inch more famous than her Chihuahua Tinkerbell. Tinkerbell has now gone over the rainbow bridge, so her place has now been taken over by Peter Pan Hilton. Ms. Hilton reportedly also owns two Pomeranians.
- The small and cute Chihuahua has been a favorite among female celibrities. The list of the others is actually very long: Reese Witherspoon (her dog‘s name is unknown), Jennifer Love Hewitt (hers is Siesta), actress Alyssa Milano (Gibson), Christina Ricci (she owns Karen), actress and singer Hillary Duff (who shares her life with Chiquita), superstar singer Madonna (who has three, one also named Chiquita, and the others. Evita, and Rosita), Anne Heche, Katherine McPhee (who owns the Chihuahua Nena), Britney Spears (seh has owned at least two, they were named Bit Bit and Lucky), Sharon Osborne (hers is named Martin), Kimberly Stewart (who has had several), singer Paula Abdul (who owns two named Thumbelina and Tulip), actress Demi Moore (who possibly owned her Chihuahua Vida with her former husband Aston Kutcher who is mentioned below), Jamie Lee Curtis, Jennifer Lopez, and Rosie O'Donnell (hers is named Misty).
- A Chihuahua was Marilyn Monroe‘s best friend. He had the funny name Choo-Choo.
The guys have also fallen for the charms of the Chihuahua:
- Aston Kutcher has been seen strolling with the dog sitting on his forearm. Actually, he had three of them with his former wife Demi Moore.
- Mickey Rourke, who has played boxers and wrestlers on the silver screen, has a more gentle side as his companion is of this tiny breed. The dog is named Loki and is credited for dragging Mr. Rourke out of a very deep, dark depression.
- George Lopez, the comedian, actor and talk show host, is also a proud owner owner of no less than three Chihuahuas.
- “Dog whisperer“ Cesar Milan has had many different types of dogs. One of them is a Chihuahua named Coco.
- Brian Littrell of the boy band Backstreet Boys of the 90‘s had two Chihuahuas, Lil‘ Tyk Thomas and Litty Leigh.
